Found that Maxwells priced a stereo at the same price as most retailers, and was really keen to support the local shop / high street, so I asked the sales team if there was a small discount that they could offer to make the purchase there and then. They wouldn’t offer any discount. I left and managed to find the same product from another retailer who was happy to offer a small discount.
